Here we are, well into January and it’s starting to feel like time that we “should” get started. Most of us have gone back to work, and yet there’s still a bit of a sense that we are just getting going. Everywhere you look there are people launching challenges, telling you to set goals and start ‘hustling’.
Whilst we love the idea of making 2020 fabulous, we feel like these little sprints are a bit tiring (and tiresome). So many of this implies that we aren’t good enough just how we are, that we are somehow flawed and we must “do better”. Often by rushing, hustling and cramming more into our days. By eating better, exercising more, being more passionate and looking hotter.
So whilst we want you to be your best, we want you to be YOUR best. We want you go gently and make sure that what you are saying you want really is true for you. Otherwise all of the goal setting in the world will just be short term.
Last week we asked you to have a look at your values, to know how they rank in order, so you can look at how they are serving you. If you have a sense of unease, and that you aren’t living your life with love, then there’s a strong chance that you are out of step with your highest values.
This week we would love you to sit back and have a look at your life overall (as if from above), and notice the biggest areas that you are both most happy and most unhappy with. We will chat in the podcast of how to use this info to make the biggest shift you will ever make.
Trust us, this will be exciting and valuable.
