Quick Click #75: Truth

Welcome to a brand new month and a brand new theme.

As you probably already know, our anchoring oil is Lavender, the oil of communication (check out the details on it in your member area) and this month our theme will be our personal superpower: Let’s Chat

Using Lavender as our guide, we want this month to be more that just idle chatter. If we really want to have the life of our dreams, then we want to be able to allow ourselves to be seen and heard. For who we really are.

To dismantle some of the sweet smelling (but possibly vacuous), blocks we have created and to allow our true expression. We might be funny, quirky, silly or strange. We might be soulful, challenged, vulnerable or uncertain. Most likely we are a combination of all of these things and more, and without a means of communicating these things to the humans we share space with, we are less than we can be. And what’s the fun in that?

So we would LOVE this October to be the month that you step fiercely into your weirdness (because we are all a little weird to each other, really) and speak the words of your heart. We will help with the tools to make that sharing easy peasy

To get us started, we want you to have a look at your truth. (Yes, let’s start nice and simple with a tiny little subject :/ eh?)

If we want to really be able to chat with others with meaning and connection, then we want to know where we stand and where we’d like to end up. Sometimes that can be revealed in the course of a conversation if there isn’t too much charge, and the people in the convo are curious and open. And other times, especially when emotions are high, it can be really useful to have a plan. We will chat more about this in the podcast, but for now we would love you to start thinking about something that is dear to you. Something you care about.

Perhaps you have some changes you’d like to make in your life and you don’t know how to enlist in the support of those around you? Or maybe you feel like it’s groundhog day, and you say the same things day in, day out and no one seems to listen (or act) on what you’re saying? Or perhaps it’s nothing like that at all. Maybe you just have a secret desire within you that you don’t have the words to express?

Whatever it is for you, this week we really want you to take some time to have a good think about what you’d love to get off your chest (Funny, as I was writing this I had a coughing fit- that’s my ‘tell’ of when I’m suppressing something… interesting. -Al), and if you can, think why

Why do you want to bring this idea, feeling, or thing into the world, and where would you like to take it?

Once you know that, there are a few simple steps we can help you with (podcast #75) to making your truth grow wings and fly. We think Christopher said it best of all:

“Come to the edge.

We might fall.

Come to the edge.

It's too high!

COME TO THE EDGE!

And they came

And he pushed

And they flew.”

-Christopher Logue
