Quick Click #4: The Last Sniff of Lemon

Here we are at the end of our first month together, and your last week to (formally) use our Oil of Focus. We hope you’ll continue to bring lemon into your life whenever you need to cut the crap, and get prepared for the task(s) at hand, because let’s face it, as women we have quite a few. Congrats for joining in, and preparing for success.

This week it’s time to look back over your default diary with a critical eye, and identify what is working for you and what isn’t. You might even want to grab a pen and write down all the areas that bring joy and ease to your life, as well as all the areas that are challenging. Where can you make some simple tweaks to the diary to either streamline things, or to bring yourself more fun? (Pro-tip: that wasn’t a flippant suggestion- actually do it. There is power in marking a page with a pen to help you clarify and organise what is happening in your mind. Try it and let us know how you go.)

Remember, your default diary is a work in progress, and there is no expectation that you arrive at a destination. It’s all about enjoying the journey. So take notice of what felt good, what gave you a spark and made you smile, as well as where you felt a bit stressy.

Perhaps it’s about making a “pillow” of time between appointments (Alison loves pillows) so you can flow along, or maybe you noticed that some tasks can take longer than you planned, so you could extend the allocated time to allow for a more languid approach?

However you choose to play this, it’s about having fun, and being curious about what works for you.

When we are coaching and chatting with chicks, we hear a similar refrain, things like: I don’t have enough time for myself, I do all of the jobs around the house and I am tired. So here’s your chance. Don’t leave it TO chance. Let’s finish the month of May fully prepared to have a magnificent life, full of fun and more of what you deserve.

PS We will reveal your June theme later this week (your presents are already in the mail).
